There are mainly two major types of Backlinks.

Do-Follow-Link: By default all Backlinks are added in your website or blog Do-Follow-Link. A Do-Follow-Link always pass Link Juice to your blog or website. That means a when your blog or website getting Do-Follow-Links other user and search engine both are search for your blog. It can increase traffic on your page.

No-Follow-Link: A No-Follow-Link is not searched by any search engine. It is searched by users only. If you use No-Follow-Link tag than it will not pass any Link Juice. It will not contribute to page rank.
